contents: Natural carbohydrates, Chemical synthesis (protecting groups, glycosylation chemistry), Analytical methods (MS, NMR, assays), Biological roles, Biosynthesis, Biological recognition by lectins, selected examples in biomedical applications (Tamiflu, Heparin, Anti-Infectives, Vaccines, Selectins, etc)
