There is an inadvertent sign error in question 4.2. The denominator in the log-function (case b<1) should read:
(1+b)\tan\frac{\varphi}{2}+\sqrt{1-b^2}
That is, + in front of the square root term. See corrected assignment SS24_NonlinDyn_Blatt2_corrected.pdf.
